In order to learn how to build a paddle, I did a lot of research and finally came across North House Folk School , which I’m currently taking some classes with a good family friend of mine who also loves wood working, Ken . He does woodworking of his spare time as well and is actually better than I am currently. He started woodworking a little bit before me and was actually the one that convinced my to try it out. Ken and I decided to travel to North House Folk School since they offer many classes, that range from building chairs all the way to building cabins. I starting off with something basic and may eventually work my way up to constructing a canoe.
